EFFORTS TO IMPROVE STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES USING THE PROBLEM BASED LEARNING MODEL IN GRADE IV MATHEMATICS LEARNING AT STATE 22 MATARAM PRIMARY SCHOOL YEAR 2023/2024
Abstract
This research aims to improve student learning outcomes by applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model to mathematics learning in class IV at SDN 22 Mataram. This type of research is classroom action research. The data collection method uses tests. The type of data used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this research were class IV students at SDN 22 Mataram with a total of 18 students. The research results generally show that there is an increase in the percentage of student learning outcomes in the pre-cycle, obtaining results of 54% in the sufficient category, then in the implementation of the first cycle it increases to 75% in the good category, and increases to 82% in the second cycle with the very good category, which means that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model is able to improve the learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN 22 Mataram.
